Welcome wizards to the great and marvellous Wizard Tournament, A new story driven wizarding experience that has you duelling against each other with spells that are activated through wand movements.
Upon arrival the story starts and wizards are sorted into one of four teams, they put on their team robes and choose a wand. You are then taken to the Great Hall for wand lessons to begin.
Here wizards are taught how to perform spells by moving the wand in specific ways to cast spells.
Once ready teams will participate in a duelling tournament with points awarded for correctly performing the spells, accuracy, difficulty, combining spells, variety and breaking another wizard’s shield. All whilst surrounded with lights, magic sounds, smells and more to fully immerse the player in the unique atmosphere for the experience.
In addition there are quite a few other things that we want to keep a surprise.

The electronic wand technology creates a realistic wizard experience. There are no buttons on the wands, you must move the wand in specific gestures and movements to cast the spells. Your opponents robe will beep and flash when wizards successfully cast their spells and hit their target.
Our atmosphere includes coloured lights, spell battle sound effects and more, surrounding you while you are playing to fully emerge you in the experience.
Wizards are put in to one of four teams and supplied with a coloured robe and wand. ( if players would like to stay on the same team because of age or abilities please let us know when you arrive)
Once wizards have their robe and wands they start spell lessons to get the feel and understanding of how to play the games. Here they are taught and practice spells by moving their wand in specific ways and feel the wand react.
Once every player has mastered their wand, teams will start duelling in the tournament. Each player will have a protection shield, wizards are required to cast multiple spells to weaken an opponents shield and eventually break it awarding points. Once a shield is broken it will reactivate after 5 seconds.
Their team will receive points for weakening the shield and more for breaking it, if wizards combine spells they are awarded more points and will break the shield quicker.
The tournament is all part of a story driven experience with our teachers helping the wizards, telling them stories and a few other surprises.
The Wizard Tournament will be take place in the 14th century St. Mary's Guildhall in the heart of Coventry.
We require all wizards to use the concealed gate keep the events as secret as possible from the non-magic type or any dark arts wizards in the area. For all wizards look for the tournament flags and wait to be collected.

This Guildhall built in 1342 is the ideal setting for the Wizard tournament and will be transformed with props, lighting and music for a magical atmosphere for the Wizard Tournament.

To book tickets please use the calendar below to select your date and time slot. You will then be taken to our secure ticket purchasing system. Register and select the amount of tickets you require. You will be taken to PayPal to complete payment (A PayPal account is not required). Your ticket(s) with a unique QR code are then emailed to you.
Places / Tickets
We run four sessions an evening and each time slot has 16 tickets available. The remaining tickets available for each event are shown on the ticket purchasing page for each session.
we ask all players to arrive 10 minutes before your session begins and wait at the entrance gate to be collected.

Is it safe?
Yes 100%, there is nothing in any event that can hurt anyone. We are very strict with Health and Safety and all our events are thoroughly risk assessed.
Unfortunately our events are not suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy as they involve flashing strobe lights.
How old do the players need to be?
Players must be 11+ and children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Can someone participate if they have a physical disability,
In principle yes. We do everything we can to give everyone an equal opportunity, please give us a call to discuss this further as we have over 40 years of experience collectively and can usually sort something out.
I have a medical condition, can I play?
Depending on the condition yes. Everyone plays to their own abilities, if anyone needs a break they are welcome to do so at any time.
What do you supply & what do they need to wear?
If you could please wear sensible footwear and clothing to suit the environment. every player will be supplied with a robe to wear over their clothes.
Do you supply food and drink?
Due to food allergies and required diets we cannot supply food or drink for our events.
Terms and Conditions
1. Purchases and Reservation deposits are non-refundable. We are not obliged to issue refunds or transfer your event.
2. For your added security funds are held with PayPal until after the event.
3. If an event has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances we will offer a refund or transfer your event, events may have to be cancelled up to 1 day prior to an event.
4. Each event will require every player or a guardian to read, understand and sign a disclaimer prior to participating, if the player is under 16 a guardian is required to sign for them in accordance with our insurance.
5. we reserve the right to refuse participation if anyone adversely effects the event for others.
6. If anyone is participating under the age 15 or under a parent or guardian must be present at all times during an event.
